Anniversary Organ Concert: Comes Autumn Time
Celebrate the season of autumn with this year's Anniversary Organ Concert: Comes Autumn Time. St. Luke's Organist & Artist-in-Residence Jim Roman welcomes the return of the Pillot Memorial Organ following three months of extensive technological upgrades with a program showcasing the instrument's vast tonal palette and renewed capabilities. Featuring seasonal favorites like Leo Sowerby's Comes Autumn Time, the world-premiere of Jason Roberts’ Variations on “Materna”, and concluding with Healey Willan's monumental Introduction, Passacaglia & Fugue, alongside works by Sigfried Karg-Elert, Robert Elmore, John Weaver, and Firmin Swinnen, this concert offers a vibrant musical reflection on the rich colors of autumn and the expressive colors of the Pillot Memorial Organ.
